Planes carry max-width none, or a global image rule shrinks them to the viewport on a phone and the scene disappears. They transition opacity only, because a transform transition eases every scroll write and the send lags a full second behind the thumb. And every plane is solid below its silhouette, or the plane behind shows through as they separate.
